A productized web design system for a real estate company selling into the Texas land broker market, built to give brokers with no existing brand a well-designed, high-performing website without the cost of a fully custom build.

01

Built on handshake relationships. It needed to be found online.

The typical incoming client was an established land broker, often not tech-savvy, a business built over years on personal contacts and word of mouth, not on a website. As buyers started searching online for rural land, hunting land, ranches, and farms across Texas, that model started to show its age: the brokers who couldn’t be found in local search were invisible to exactly the buyers looking for what they had.

For Crystalcore’s first five years, Zoltán handled this need the way any design shop would, one project at a time, as the sole web and graphic designer on everything that came through. As the company expanded deeper into the land broker market, that model hit a wall: most incoming clients had little to no existing brand, wanted a well-designed, high-performing website, and needed someone to handle the logo, fonts, and graphic design too, but couldn’t be charged what a fully custom build actually cost.

One system, fifty templates, a name of its own.

Build a real design system, not a cheaper version of the custom process. Roughly 50 mix-and-match templates, built to either match a client’s existing material or improve on it, paired with a fast pick-and-adjust onboarding flow so a broker with no design experience could move from “we need a website” to a finished one quickly, without learning any of the technical or design tools involved.

A working MLS-integrated real estate search came built into every site, and the whole system, connected to Crystalcore’s own web development platform and automated marketing tooling, meant a broker’s properties started showing up in the searches that mattered, rural land, hunting land, ranch, and farm buyers looking specifically in Texas, without the broker having to touch any of it themselves. The system was named LBW, Land Broker Websites, internally.

Two hundred sites in, and still the anchor for the bigger sale.

Over 200 client websites delivered through LBW, at roughly 35% lower creative and implementation cost internally. For clients, the value wasn’t a discount, it was more for the price: design and features that would have cost more built custom elsewhere, delivered inside a system built to move fast.

LBW also became a sales tool in its own right, used live on client calls as a reference point to anchor conversations toward higher-paying custom design and build work. The system is still running today, same backbone, tooling modernized with AI, proof that the underlying method held up well past the market it was built for.

“Fifteen years, and I’d take him back tomorrow. Zoltán didn’t ask for more designers, he designed the system that’s still running two hundred sites later.”

You’ve probably known for a while. What you don’t know is whether it’s the message, the brand, or the website, and guessing at it costs more than asking.
