About

I've done every job I now direct, so the expensive problems surface early.

I decide what a company should say, then direct everything that says it. Having done each of those jobs myself is what keeps the decisions fast and the mistakes cheap.

What I actually do now

The work runs from the decision down to the file.

Most owners can tell me in one conversation why they are better than whoever just beat them. Almost none have ever had to compress that for someone who doesn’t already care, so the work never got done.

  • Positioning and message, settled before anything gets designed.
  • Identity, website, pitch deck and marketing material, built to that decision.
  • What happens after launch, when the market moves and the material has to move with it.

Why me

I used to think the visuals were the point.

Twenty-five years of doing every part of this myself changed that. It also means you are not paying me to learn it on your project.

My own company

Amegrant, 2002 to 2010

My own company in Hungary. Hotels, a real estate platform, a shopping mall system with tenant management behind it, and a government registry that moved local administration off paper. I did the design and the UI, and I made the business calls.

One client, fifteen years

Crystalcore

One client in Texas, building sites for land brokers and rural real estate. Mike and I built a template system with a backend under it, so a feature built for one client shipped to all of them. When we added MLS integration for one, every other owner got an email telling them it was already part of their plan.

Retained since 2018

Maat Holdings

Retained creative partner. Eric Davis owns the business decisions there. Mine are the ones the outside world sees.

Who this works with

The ones this works with decide, and expect me to.

Owner-led companies that are growing or repositioning. Not an industry and not a size.

  • They own the company and can say yes without a committee.
  • They decide, show up when they said they would, and expect the same back.
  • It doesn’t work with people who want pixels pushed cheaply and want to stand over the work while it happens.

A year from now the site is rebuilt, the logo is refreshed, and the business is where it is today.

That is the version that costs the most, and no invoice ever shows it.

I named this Clarity Republic because power belongs in the hands of the people. Clarity handed to an owner is that kind of leverage.

In thirty minutes you’ll know where you are, what I’d do, and what it would cost.

If what you put in front of buyers isn’t bringing them to you, let’s get on a call and talk it through.

It comes back in writing, free, including if the answer is that you don’t need me.
